Research Archive
Behind the polished tracks sits a research archive: the survey notes, structured metadata and design documents from which this course was synthesized. It lives in the repository, openly, so every curriculum decision can be traced back to a source.
What's in the archive
| Path | Contents |
|---|---|
courses/ | Per-course survey directories for the 11 indexed university courses: collected links, lecture inventories and status notes (materials themselves are not redistributed) |
metadata/courses.json | Structured metadata for all 11 courses — topics, material availability, licensing status, relevance assessments — the source of the University Courses cards |
metadata/materials.json | Per-file download/status ledger for surveyed materials |
synthesis/proposed_course_v0_1.md | The V0.1 curriculum design document: three-track structure, six-part course tree, lab definitions, licensing decisions |
synthesis/ | Topic inventories, curriculum analysis and the design lessons extracted from mlabonne/llm-course |
COURSE_INDEX.md · FINAL_REPORT.md | Survey index and summary report of the knowledge-base collection phase |
Ground rules
- Traceability: if a module makes a claim about "how CIS6280 teaches X", the receipt should exist in the archive.
- Curate, don't copy: the archive records links, structure and analysis — third-party slides and papers are never re-hosted.
- Living document: the archive is append-mostly; when the field moves (new video world models, VLA releases), new material enters the survey before it enters the curriculum.
